[SCYYRA] National Youth Match Race Clinic & Regatta- Balboa YC May 14-16th

Balboa Yacht Club recently announced the 2010 National Youth Match Race
Clinic & Regatta will be held May 14th to 16th at Balboa Yacht Club. This is
considered an invitational regatta and is open to juniors who have not
reached their 20th birthday by December 31, 2010.

 

The clinic will be directed by World Match Race Tour Veteran Brian Angel.
Brian is an alumnus of junior sailing in Southern California (King Harbor
YC) and is a former US National Match Race Champion (Prince of Wales),
winner of the Ficker Cup and participant in numerous World Match Race events
as skipper and as tactician. 

 

Participating teams in the Clinic do not need to be members of the same
yacht club or sailing association, however the winner of the event will be
invited to the 44th Governor's Cup International Junior Match Race
Championship (July 20-25th) which does have such a requirement.
